Yousef Kassim is a graduate with honors from Trinity University and St. Mary's University School of Law. Kassim is a licensed attorney in the State of Texas and has worked on a variety of complex civil cases across the state. Kassim receives numerous awards and honors for his work, including being named to the American Business Journal‘s National List of 100 Most Influential Attorneys in Business and Law. Kassim was also named one of the top ten graduates of the last decade by St. Mary's University School of Law.
In addition to being an attorney, Kassim is an inventor, entrepreneur and leading voice in the justice technology industry. Kassim is the Founder and CEO of E-Legal, Inc. d/b/a EasyExpunctions.com and a founding board member of the Justice Technology Association. E-Legal, Inc. develops technology solutions for consumers, non-profits, businesses, and government entities interested in leveraging technology to provide individuals with affordable access to justice. Kassim has mentored startups in the criminal justice space for the MIT Solve: Unbundling Policing Challenge and served on the Advisory Board of Village Capital’s Innovations in Justice Tech program. Kassim is also an Aspen Institute Fellow in the 2023 Alamo Workforce Leadership Academy.
Kassim dedicated his career to service and providing individuals with access to justice, and he takes on dozens of pro-bono cases annually. Kassim carries this spirit of service into his volunteer work in the community serving on the board of directors of the Workforce Solutions Alamo, and Crosspoint, Inc., and on the board of advisors to the Fair Chance Institute.
